Project note / About

Music that arrives from somewhere.

Plainframe Music is a modern music and art project where songs, artist identities, visual systems, and web pages are built together as one connected body of work.

Each artist is treated as its own world: a name, a sound, a visual language, fragments of story, and the recorded music that makes it real. The website is part of that work, not just a place to publish it.

The artists are not presented as conventional bands with a traditional biography. They are constructed music identities: fictional in form, but made with real writing, production, design, editing, and release work behind them.

Working method

The point is not to imitate a record label from the past. The point is to use the tools of now to make music feel like it arrives from somewhere.

How the music works

The catalogue can move between Latin power metal, Swedish indie pop rock, electronic sketches, or something quieter and stranger. The common thread is not genre. It is atmosphere, authorship, and the feeling that every track belongs to a place you can almost remember.

Some songs begin with a riff, a lyric scrap, a photograph, or a fictional document. Others begin with a production texture: a room, a machine, a damaged demo, a choir, a street after rain. The surrounding world gives the music somewhere to stand.

How the catalog works

The homepage is the station. Artist pages are the places you board into. VINDORUM is currently boarding, while SKYMVIK waits as the next Swedish-language signal.
